Shipping costs for US Domestic orders are based upon dimensional weight and costs for International orders are based upon weight of the package. A handling charge of is included with each order, see below for the handling charges associated with each type of shipment. Most orders ship within 3 to 5 days of the order being placed. If we do not have an item in our current inventory, it will usually ship within 7 to 10 days of the order being placed. Customers will be notified via e-mail when items are shipped. All credit cards are charged when the item ships.
We will use flat rate packaging whenever possible to keep shipping costs down for our customers. We will continue to try and contact customers before shipping if we think a problem will be caused by our default shipping method.
The Gamer's Armory does its best to pack orders as carefully as possible. Please let us know if you experience a problem with your package and we will do our best to help correct it. Ultimately, we can not be responsible for packages that are lost or damaged during shipping.
Domestic Shipping: Our default method for domestic shipments is USPS Priority Mail. Shipping charges for domestic orders are calculated as part of the order in our shopping cart; however, effective May 14, 2007, packages meeting special criteria are calculated based upon dimensional weight. This is applicable when the package travels over 600 miles (Postal zone 5-8) from Cary, NC and is larger than 1 cubic foot. The shipping charge will be the actual weight of the box or the dimensional weight, whichever is higher. Our shopping cart cannot determine which shipment option is applicable so we will have to evaluate each box during the packaging process. This should only impact large orders or larger products. To help keep the cost down for our customers, we may occasionally split orders into smaller boxes or offer Parcel Post as an alternate shipping method. If your order is impacted by the dimensional weight method, we will contact you before we ship your items. Priority Mail normally provides 2 to 3 day delivery on our shipments. Shipping charges include a $1.50 handling fee. We provide e-mail notification of shipping information.
International Shipping: Our default method for all international shipments is USPS Priority Mail International which replaced surface mail and airmail. The cost of this method may be higher than the previous methods, but delivery times should improve. Insurance is still an option and on-line tracking is available for some packages. Please let us know, when placing your order, if you are interested in getting insurance. Priority Mail International orders are usually delivered in 7 to 10 days. We will provide e-mail notification when packages ship. For the convinence of our customers, our shopping cart provides an estimate of the international shipping charges. It does not take into account the ability to use flat rate packages or flat rate envelopes. Shipping charges will be the actual shipping plus the $3.00 handling fee. We will adjust shipping charges as needed on the order.
Customer Pickup: From time to time, we will attend gaming events. If we are attending an event, customers can save on shipping by picking up items at the event. Please contact us before selecting this option to see if we are attending any upcomming events. |
