On November 12, 2011, The Gamer's Armory hosted the 1st Annual 24 Hour Board Game Marathon to benefit the Turner Syndrome Society.

The Gamer's Armory supported one of our local Customers (Dan Patriss) by hosting a 24 Hour Game Marathon to help raise money for the Turner Syndrome Society. Dan's daughter, Lauren, age 7, was diagnosed with Turner Syndrome 18 months ago. Turner Syndrome (TS) is a chromosomal condition that describes girls and women with common features that are caused by complete or partial absence of the second sex chromosome. Common problems include short stature, premature ovarian failure, thyroid problems, and heart and kidney abnormalities. TS occurs in approximately 1 of every 2,500 female births and in as many as 10% of all miscarriages.

In addition to providing a space for the Marathon Players to play for 24 hours straight, during regular business hours, The Gamer's Armory also hosted Events, Demos and Tournaments throughout the day that everyone was able to participate in for a small entry fee. All entry fees were donated to the Turner Syndrome Society!! We also had raffle tickets available for purchase, bake sale items for sale and a silent auction!
