A Game of Thrones LCG Game Day
Sunday, February 19, 2012, 01:00 - 06:00

Please join us on Sunday, February 19, 2012 from 1:00 pm to 6:00 pm for A Game of Thrones LCG Game Day!

A Game of Thrones LCG Game Day is open to interested Players, new (still learning) Players and Veteran Players!  This Game Day will have something for everyone!  Even if you've never played before but love the AGOT Books or the TV Show, please come out and check it out!

Don't worry, there will be a Core Set available for Game Day for use to new Players with experienced Players happy to demo the game for 1-3 new Players at a time!

The idea is to offer an easy-access and central location for Players to meet and play as well as to even get more people playing, through demos or exposure as the group plays.

Based upon Player participation during the Game Day scheduled for February 19th and Player preference, we are looking to schedule this Event as a weekly or monthly Event in the form of Organized Play through Fantasy Flight Games!  Please stay tuned for more details!!

A Game of Thrones: The Card Game (AGoT:tCG) is an exercise in intrigue, diplomacy, and strategy for 2-4 players, and is playable in roughly 1-2 hours. The “Core Set” includes everything that up to four players need for a self-contained and vastly replayable gaming experience. Its most compelling attribute, however, is the infinite customization afforded by the LCG™, or “Living Card Game™,” system. This innovative new way of looking at card games gives players the ability to expand their library of cards, at a relatively small cost, by purchasing monthly “chapter packs,” which offer a fixed set of twenty new cards each, with 3 copies of each card included. This setup allows you to choose which components to include, and it shifts the advantage away from players most able to afford rare cards (a common criticism of collectible card games) to where it should be: players capable of creatively compiling the most effective deck. In short, the LCG™ system levels the playing field, providing the best features of both CCGs and standalone card games.

A Living Card Game™ (LCG™) breaks away from the traditional Collectible Card Game (CCG) model by offering a fixed card distribution method. It offers the same dynamic customizable, expanding, and constantly evolving game play that makes CCG’s fun, but without the blind buy purchase model that can burn out players. The end result is an innovative mix that gives you the best of both worlds!
