A Pathfinder Society Special designed for Levels 1–11.

The Ruby Phoenix Tournament is nigh, and organizations and individuals throughout the Inner Sea are scrambling to secure a spot in the legendary Tian fighting competition, among them the Pathfinder Society.
In an underground qualifier event overseen by an enigmatic old monk and his oni spokesman, the Pathfinders must overcome the opposition to ensure the Society can send representatives to distant Goka to compete in the Ruby Phoenix Tournament itself.
Battles will rage and blood will flow under the streets of Absalom, and only the greatest combatants will emerge victorious.

This special is designed for play in Pathfinder Society Organized Play, but can easily be adapted for use with any world.
It is a single scenario played by multiple tables simultaneously (minimum 5) and requires one GM per table and an overseer GM to coordinate the entire event.
This special is compliant with the Open Game License (OGL) and is suitable for use with the Pathfinder Roleplaying Game.

This Pathfinder Society Special uses the following GameMastery accessories:

Teen RPG Game Day (June 1st)

E-mail Print

Please join us at The Gamer's Armory on Saturday, June 1, 2013 from 12:00 pm to 5:00 pm for our monthly Teen RPG Event!

The Gamer's Armory will be hosting a Pathfinder Society Organized Play Event exclusively for Teens!

From 12:00 pm to 5:00 pm there will be a game for 13-18 year olds to have some fun role playing without those pesky adults.
If you are a teenager who is interested in RPGs, this is for you. This Event is open to both new and experienced players.

If you'd like to attend, please RSVP via the RTR Meetup. If you aren't a member and need details, please contact This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it .

What is Pathfinder Society Organized Play, and why would it interest me?

The Pathfinder RPG is a popular role playing game which allows players to be warriors and wizards in a world of magic, Elves, Dragons, and monsters of all sorts.
Pathfinder Society Organized Play allows you to play the same character at various gaming stores, conventions, and house games. See www.paizo.com/pathfindersociety for all the details.

Do I need to create a character in advance and register it?

No, not really. There will be several pre-generated characters available to play, and you can register after the fact.
You will want to register sooner rather than later so you get credit for playing,
which allows you advance your character to higher levels where you can take on increasingly difficult challenges.

What do I need to bring?

A pencil and a desire to participate in a fantasy role playing game should be enough.
If you have your own character, either new or from previous Pathfinder Society Organized Play events, bring it along.
You will need a set of seven polyhedral dice, which you can either borrow or buy them while you are there.
If you enjoy this, eventually you will want your own dice, a copy of the Core Rulebook, some miniatures, and various other aids, but none of that is essential if this is your first time playing a RPG.

Is this really only for teens? Will there really be no adults at all?

The only reason an adult will be playing is if there aren't enough teens to fill out the table, or no teen wants to GM.
If there are enough kids to play and GM, you will have the table to yourself. Remember that this will be in a store, so it will be in public, and adults will be playing other games at other tables.

What if I can't make it?

The Gamer's Armory hosts the Pathfinder Society Organized Play every Friday night from 6:30 pm until 11:00 pm, and it is scheduled via meetup.com. Teens are welcomed to participate, but this is not a teen-only Event. Sometimes there are enough teens there to have a teen only table on Fridays, but that isn't guaranteed. Please indicate "teen" in the RSVP to help out with scheduling.

What about Pre-Teens?

The Gamer's Armory also hosts a Kids RPG Day game nearly every month which targets 8-12 year old gamers.
That is likely to a better match for the younger crowd.
Check the Raleigh Tabletop RPGs calendar for details, or look for the signs posted in The Gamer's Armory.
